I enjoy the new NBC sports channel a lot and would not mind seeing some NASCAR broadcast on it. I suspect that they would broadcast most on the sports channel and only a few on the OTA NBC channel.
I don't MIND ESPN either, them or FOX. Both have nauseating pre-race shows but i learned pretty quick not to tune in before the green flag...

Absolutely true. It's easy to find the actual green flag time listed on the internet (Jayski), so I tune in about 5 minutes before the scheduled drop of the flag and the broadcast is much more bearable.
The other thing is to use the Tivo / DVR and have the race record. Then sit in front of the TV about an hour later and you can fast forward through the commercials.

NASCAR's website gives you the green flag time also.
I put up with the lag time and watch the race while listening to audio on NASCAR's Sirius channel. They typically expand their coverage to include driver-to-crew chief audio transmissions for a half dozen of the most popular drivers which I think is really cool.
