Qualified 8th and was running competitively in the Top 10 before a bad pit stop put her in the back of the field. I'm tellin' ya, that young lady is the most talented female in NASCAR by a very large margin, but you wouldn't know it because the media is too busy kissing Danica's ass.

Speaking of Danica, she had her typical race - qualified poorly, got lapped, and crashed.

Speaking of butt kissing if you stop long enough to look at the stats they would indicate otherwise.

You know what stats don't show? Johanna's team has less than half the budget of Danica's.

Speaking of those stats, they also show that Danica is getting her butt kicked by a kid who got a ride because of his daddy's money (Brian Scott), a has-been who missed a race this year (Joe Nemechek), and her unheralded teammate (Cole Whitt).

I'm gonna love watching the excuses fly when Danica finishes 25th every race next year.

Safe to suffice Danica is getting her butt kicked by 10 other drivers. It appears the naysayers to be the main ones who have high expectations of her; probably so they can feel like they are beating her down more.

Sure, she looks rosy in the driver standings where fewer than 1/3 of the drivers have started every race. In fact, she's 10th out of the 13 drivers who've started all 25 races, behind a guy who's missed a race, and a mere 23 points ahead of another 24-race starter (Tayler Malsam). Impressive.

How's she doing in the owners points? 17th.

Sorry, she's not a top tier driver and she's never going to be. She's 90% marketing gimmick, 10% racer. She can drive but then again the Sprint Cup Series has a long history of guys who could drive but couldn't win - guys like Rick Wilson, Rick Mast, Hut Stricklin, David Gilliland, Buddy Arrington, and J.D. McDuffie to name a few.

Owner points? Who cares? The only time owner points play a part is at the beginning of the season, other than that completely insignificant.
In this day and age of results sponsors are willing to shell out big bucks for results. Just like overr88ted, a few more lack luster seasons he won't be able to get dew to settle on his car and GoDaddy will be the same way. GoDaddy is not going to spend a lot of money over a long period of time to be a back marker.

I remember a driver who stunk up the (then) Busch series and worked his way into cup. I had no idea what the team owner saw in him but I was looking for a driver to root for and given this team owner's history I figured he must see something.
Thirteen years, 47 wins, and 3 championships later Stewart has had a pretty good career to date and I'm going with the same foresight that Gibbs had when he put him in a Cup ride. He must see something in Danica besides $$$$ because the involvement in this team is for when he hangs up his helmet.
