Who took 4 tires with 7 laps to go? Was that Junior? Why would he do that?
He has driven hard all year, but has been on the bad side of luck too often. A couple bad engines this year. Wrecked at Talledega. He looked dominate early on at Martinsville but ended up with a flat, or damage, or soemthing, finishing mid pack (he led over half the race). Overall, I think he has generally had strong cars this year, and driven well, and circumstances ended up setting him farther back than he deserved.

I think he could put in a fight during the chase, but he is going to have to find a way to get to the finish line in first. A string of top 5's and 10's generally isn't enough to win a chase title.
