NASCAR makes changes to slow cars at Daytona - NASCAR News | FOX Sports on MSN

Just go to 3 cylinder engines or hell, even better, not race at all. Maybe just have the drivers push the cars around the track.

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

So what's your plan? We've seen cars flip over in from the air at just over 200MPH on the speedway. Aside from tearing down the banking, how do you or any other casual fan advise Nascar on how to run the race? I'd love to hear plausible ideas.

Simple solution, ky.

If you don't like it, don't watch it.

Looks like they want to close the opening to the radiator a bit, to let less air in, thereby the pushing car in the two car draft will have to move out more often to cool down.

In the shootout, it seemed like some of the two car pairs never swapped spots.

So how do Brian France and the NASCAR brass react to that? They take their oversaturated product, slap a new wrapper on it and tell us it’s all better.

The problem with that is, the thing they fixed wasn’t the part that’s broken.

And yet he continues to watch. It's like watching Charlie Brown trying to kick the football.

I don't see a need to get so worked up over it. If people stop watching, ratings slide, people stop going to the track...then the France family will start to listen.

Until then, they will continue to tweak. The current downward trend is minor right now...once the economy picks up, people will start going back to the track.

I don't think NASCAR will ever be as big as it was a few years ago.

How long is that card going to be played?

And tweaking is what got NASCAR into the shape it's in. Anyway, congrats on JJ on another championship.

So is this another conspiracy theory of yours? Do you really think that it benefits NASCAR to have JJ win his 6th straight?

The reason the #48 team always wins is because they are the fastest to adapt to anything NASCAR tries to do.
