Congratulations for nailing Carl for being the first driver in NASCAR history for jumping a restart. He should be banned for life.
I watched that race and recall Bush saying "I can't catch him" or something like that.
Bush might have been able to beat Carl in a one lap shootout so why take a chance.

Way to go Carl.

Guess that was his only shot at winning.

From NASCAR Sprint Cup Racing News The Pit Bull's Daily Briefing

"NASCAR has each track paint two red lines on the outside wall off the fourth turn to demarcate the restarting 'area,' and in the overhead video (below) there are two corresponding white lines on inside part of the asphalt itself. The leader must restart anywhere within those two sets of lines. NASCAR has on occasion blackflagged the leader of a race for jumping a restart, as it did Rusty Wallace once at Charlotte."

Stop it at:07 and see the jump

OK Carl was given the win because Ford is the favored brand of NASCAR.

I think it's more like Kyle knew he couldn't beat Carl so he delayed. It's happened to Kyle before where he jumped and he got penalized. Kyle bad-rapped NASCAR in the after race press interview. You think that snowballed and had any affect on his 2 lap park for the finger yesterday? Methinks it did.

I like Kyle because he is talented and also the latest "bad boy in" NASCAR but unlike Earnhardt Sr. Kyle has to realize who's in charge and sometime you have to keep your mouth shut.
Sponsors don't like disrespectful drivers.
Kyle is gonna win plenty of races but he is not entitled to win every race.

NFN but wasn't it Kyle who said I can't keep up with Carl?
