Since the time I watched my first episode of Rudy Maxa in Australia, I have wanted to visit this country. However, I'm not quite sure how well recieved I would be in the "land down under" because I am an African-American male. From the standpoint of those who are black/African-American that live in or have visited Australia, what are your experiences with the native non-black Aussies? Further, to the non-black Australians how well do you think a African-American/black male would be recieved in your country?
BTW, are there any KFCs and malt liqour stores in Australia??
how well do u expect to be treated is a function of how well u act. if you are on a drunken party binge in canada for the week end, dont expect much u r no longer in detroit friend. not a lot of white guilt in australia mate.

No point coming here. We will eat your flesh and shrink your skull quicker than you can scream out "collard greens". You'd be better of in New Zealand. Their lot are more..like your lot.
I'm not black and it's been a while sine I was a drunken teenager in a bar, but I suspect you'd get quite a lot of positive racism. IYKWIM. You would have no problems whatsoever sleeping/flirting your way around the country if that was what you wanted to do, to be more explicit.
You're unlikely to get the anti-American sentiment, but I don't know if you'd get negative racism (I'd like to think not, but I'm white so I have less than no idea).
