I have Bluebonnet Co-op, electric costs are about 11-13c per kWh with all fees and taxes included.

I know vs the national average that isn't terrible but I paid 5.48c per kWh last month so to me that seems ridiculously high.

With all fees and taxes? Or just the price per kWh?

Take your total kWh used and divide it by the amount you write the check for.

Yep, thats my rate with all fees and taxes. Total KWh / check amount.

My stated rate is 5.1c per KWh before taxes and fees.

The best part is I signed a 7 month contract at that rate back in March so I get to ride that cheap rate all the way through the summer and until October.

Dang, not bad atall.. I'm still mulling over getting grid-tie solar with some battery backup though, since my area has the occasional power outage and I'd like fridge and freezer to have continuous power..
