When we first moved to Round Rock, we were also looking at rentals. I did see some with a pool. I didn't know about austinhomesearch.com at the time, so I did all my looking on Craigslist, and that did bring me to realtors. Yes, some realtors do also work with rentals. I would check Craigslist and austinhomesearch.com

We did the same. We are coming from Denver CO. I found a realtor online while searching for homes to rent. He was a god send. We scheduled a trip to Austin in May for 4 days and on one of those days he showed us 10 houses. We picked the very first one we saw in Steiner Ranch. We move in June 15th. No pool though. But 3 community pools. The realtor gets paid by the Seller/Landlord to get thier house rented. I found all the homes I looked at on the realtor's website and the Statesman newspaper. Very few homes with pools. Good Luck!

It's likely going to be relatively rare to find a house for rent with an in-ground pool. There are many reasons, not the least of which is potential liability. The maintenance is non-stop (we've had two, ourselves), the costs are not gentle on the bank account, and it's quite easy to damage the pump/filter system unless you know it well.

I personally would look for something with a community pool.
