What are you crazy you're going to give up NYC? You can go see Letterman, Conan O'brien,SNL.the Opera, Smithsionan,Austin has live music that's it and a extremely pathetic effort to be like LA and NYC. Austin will more than likely be just as huge as NYC OR L.A. with all the problems and none of advantages of those type cities.I mean if you want to leave NYC why Not Ithaca or one of the other places near NYC First, why move all the why down to Austin and be disappointed,Espeically if you want people to say oh you're a Yankee then. That's how backwater the south still is.The only way the city of Austin makes money now is to sucker a bunch of people by saying it's the great when it's not like a tourist trap. It needs new people with money to move there which is why business owners are saying how great it is of course it's great because your making money off all the suckers that move down here. They don't make any money from the local people because they trying to get by and know it's a joke.

Even then Austin has nothing compared to the DFW area or Houston.
