Can anyone recommend a company who will doing sealing of granite/grout/tile for a new house? I did it for the last two new houses. Don't want to do it again. Thanks.

If this is a brand new house, the granite comes polished and is sealed in that process.

As for the grout, they have really easy stuff now where you just mop it on. It can take 5 minutes. Not sure you want to hire someone for something so quick and easy.

Thanks, Falconhead. Will look for a grout sealer. Shower appears to be done with flooring tile. Do you think that should be sealed?

The shower tile should have been done with a different grout than a regular floor tile. The shower is constantly wet and the grout is porous and meant to withstand the water. Unless you plan on drinking koolaid or eating spaghetti in the shower which can stain the grout, I've never heard of anyone sealing their shower floor. My shower floor is also tile, no sealer.

One of the builder's construction foremen told me a few years ago that I should seal the entire tiled shower enclosure once a year, but I didn't.
