Hi,

I've been suffering with repetitive strain injury from using the mouse for quite a while. I've seen a few hand surgeons, but they typically spend about five minutes with me and diagnose me with something that when I get home and look it up makes no sense (tenesynovitis for example). Does anybody know of a good therapist or doctor that spends time to properly diagnose the problem and perhaps believes in somewhat alternative ideas such as trigger points? I'm in the Bee Caves/Lakeway area, so something near there would be best, but at this point all travel wherever.

Thanks,
Mike

We have used The Hand Clinic of Austin (444-4263) and they are very good. They are Occupational Therapists, but you may still need a physician. We have not looked for a hand physician, so I can't recommend one. The Hand clinic is at 1825 Fort View Rs, Ste 103, which is not exactly close to Bee Cave, but it is right off the freeway.
