My first time to ever post a review, because I generally have not encountered such poor management. DO NOT, as the other reviews state, trust this company. Their files show that we verbally committed to extending my two month contract to a 6 month contract and that they would begin to charge me the 6 month rate. NEVER did they say i had to re- sign a contract. They have dishonored what they committed to, even though their notes from my file documented the conversation and will not refund me $20.mo per POD from 15 charges, equaling. $300. What is even worse is the phone staff refused to give up a managers name. Naturally the manager was out. You have to question the ethics of a company whose managers hide behind the front desk and do not honor their verbal and written commitment. You wouldn't think $300 to a nationwide company would be more important than solid customer service from someone who has spent $5,998.12 with them.

1* for the driver only

Don't bother with this company. The great guy driving the units was a doll and that's where good customer service ended.

The office staff is TERRIBLE. They send no invoice reminders of any kind, to email or snail mail. My due date is on the 9th, I'm busy, I travel, I forget. I think the reason they don't prorate to the 1st is so you DO forget and they can charge you a $25 late fee on EACH unit you have, NOT as a total bill. Ridiculous and bad business ethics. The office staff is nice until they've "GOT" you. Remember that.

Rethink patronizing this Corporation. I've asked on numerous occasions and in emails for an address or email for the CEO or Operations Manager and have been told they cannot provide that information. What?? Suspicious to say the least.

I have used Cool Box for temporary storage and love the insulation. For a move, however, I would prefer Pods because of the method of loading and moving the box.

The Cool Box uses a drag on ramp to load, so it tilts everything in the box to a 30-40 degree angle. the Pods use a lifting cradle similar to a shipping container crane, so everything stays level inside the container.

If you had one of these in your driveway for 24 hours, do you think an HOA might object?

I have seen them in driveways off and on over the years, so either 'they' (HOA or neighbors) did not object or it was within the rules. I am in VOWO, so not the same as CC, but I think that it would be ludicrous to get upset if it was only 24 hours! I suppose longer than 48 or more than a weekend might get some attention, but it never has in our neck of the woods. Some people have had them out there for well over a week.
