Makes perfect sense. Great weather, Delicious BBQ, good cost of living, good Schools, young and progressive population, manageable taxes. Congratulations Austin!

Going all the way back to when the town was called Waterloo, it has consistently been on one "fastest growing" list after another, year after year. Maybe not every year, but a lot of years, regularly.

Utah's population growth is mostly because of it's high birth rate thanks to the Mormon population. However there are a few transplants from other parts of the country that move there as well.
