Default Lake Austin water temperatures

Lake Travis water temperatures are available on line and are given at various depths. The temperature of Lake Austin depends on the distance from Lake Travis. Near Mansfield Dam the Lake Austin temperatures are similar to the deep temperatures at Lake Travis. Going east and south on Lake Austin, in the warmer months, the temperatures will rise and be closer to the Lake Travis surface temperature as one approaches Tom Miller Dam.
