Has anyone moved a small business S corp form CA to TX?
I am going to relocate my business to Austin Area, Round Rock area
I spoke to a business attorney. He said this is a tax question.
I have two questions …

1. I am wondering when I issue my employee (who will stay in CA) his paycheck, How does this work, will I still be have to pay his UI, 940 and other Ca tax's.
2.Do I close the current Ca S corporation down and open another in TX? I would lose a vendor number I have with my current county but, that business is small and I would be willing to let it go, or I could apply for another vendor #.
Or is there another way, such as filling out paperwork/forms with each state or IRS, keeping my current corporation.

Anything you can add would be appreciated.

You need to go back and ask these questions to your attorney or an attorney in Austin.
