Hello,
I'm studying for some board exams I have to take. Hoping to find a nice/quiet place to study. This weekend is Spring break, and that is where my challenge lies...
I usually study at PCL on the UT campus (open to the public) or an ACC library - both are closed thsi weekend (PCL has limited hours on Sunday).
I have tried the Austin libraries this week - but darn are they loud with the kids (which is great that kids are in the library - don't get me wrong).

I live in SW Austin, though I don't mind driving for a little bit. Anyone have a suggestion of a quiet place to study this weekend where I won't be disturbed (too much)?
Thanks.

Don't know if it helps but the library at Texas State in San Marcos opens back up on Sunday afternoon at 1 and are open until 3 am. They are closed Sat. I have to run up there for a few books and thought going on spring break would be so much easier but then saw their hours- so I am going Sunday afternoon as well.

Here is their hours for this week and directions, parking, etc. Alkek Library News: Library Hours during Spring Break

you can also check and see if any of the public libraries in Austin have private study rooms you can use. I have used these in other areas and it helps cut down on distractions.

City of Austin history center usually has a much more reserved customer base. 810 Guadalupe | (512) 974-7480 | P.O. Box 2287, Austin, TX 78768-2287

UT Student Union has a few nice quiet areas. It looks like it will be open for limited hours. http://www.utexas.edu/universityunio...314-0320v2.pdf

The Hampton Branch library in Oak Hill had some quiet conference rooms in the back they let people who needed to study use if they were not scheduled for a meeting.
