Hello,

Can anyone tell me if dunlap avenue in east point is a desirable area, low crime? Also does it fall within historic east point. Looking at some units in that area to rent out, would that be an ok location for tenants?

It is in Center Park. Not a very desirable section.

Center Park is growing and has some nice areas. Dunlap is behind the curve.

We don't want any more renters on this street anyway. We need home owners.

It's not a bad area per se, though the character of the neighborhood is lower and working class. I've known a few people who've lived over there and never heard of anything bad happening.

As for the area that I consider to fall into the core of "Historic Downtown East Point" it's bounded by Washington Road in the South, Main Street in the East, Norman Berry Drive in the North and Semmes Street on the west...though I would also include the flow blocks between Semmes and Sumner Park.
