I recently obtained my ABA cert. and a B. A. degree. I am trying to relocate to Atlanta from Macon and am finding it hard to secure a paralegal position. I would like to get some good leads from any area of practice, however I have experience in Personal Injury, Workers Comp. and a little Real Estate. Oh, and affordable housing!! Where should I begin to look? Please help if you can.
I am a legal assistant as well and I too was having a hard time obtaining employment. I also have a degree and ten years of experience. I have given up my search for now. Decided to just stay home for awhile (my husband makes a lot more money than I did so he told me to stop the search for awhile). You can search on careerbuilder, monster, atlanta journal constitution and indeed.com.
I would be interested to know how it worked out for you. Good Luck!!!

Yeah, I see a lot of legal assistant positions on those 1st 3 sites.
I went on an interview almost two weeks ago and was offered a position this morning however, I did send out about 50 resumes and I was very persistant and just as I had given up the attorney called me this morning. So just keep sending them out you'll eventually get call backs.
