I can't imagine why no one is getting back to you.

Do you think it will make a difference if our resume says we already in Atlanta?

Default I had the same issue

I had moved here already but was staying at my MIL house while I painted and all the flooring was redone in the house we bought.
I moved from NJ and had that on my resume. Not a single call back. Don't know if it's a bias against Northerners or just not wanting to deal with out of staters. I eventually put my new GA address with same resume details and got a job offer pretty quick thereafter.

Company does not want to pay relocation package since they could easily find people locally.

I have a post on here as far as trying to move back to Georgia and I had a lot of helpful responses. You are more than welcome to take a look. And to piggy back on what Lawrenceville said. It is very hard when you are sending a resume with an out of state address on it. But you know what after I lived there for a while, I was still sending out resumes w/ my Georgia address and nothing. Maybe it was the information that I had on my resume and the wording. But I am not going to give up in trying to find a job there. Georgia is a beautiful place. And as long as you are in a wonderful area (I lived in Gwinnett County - Duluth) you will meet wonderful people, some buttheads here and there. But you will get that anywhere you go. I wish you nothing but the best. Take care and hope to keep in contact with you all.
