My husband may be relocated to Duluth in the near future. Since we've never even been to Georgia we've decided to have a road trip to check it out. We are especially interested in Dacula, Suwanee, and Buford because we may end up living there. I'm just looking for some advice on some places to check out and maybe some spots to avoid around these areas. There are a couple specific subdivisions that I want to see b/c I've heard they are nice. Just wanted to get some more ideas.

In Buford, check out the Mall of Georgia area, on Rte. 20 at I-85 - very busy area, but nice mall. The Buford zip code (most of which is not actually in the city, but is unincorporated county - if you are interested in the Buford City schools, make sure you actually will be living in the city limits, not just a Buford mailing address) is a very large area - can't really point you to any specific subdivsions there. Check out Suwanee Town Center park at the corner of Buford Hwy. and Lawrencville-Suwanee. Some subdivsions to chack out there include Morningview and Avonlea crossing. Also some very nice subs. off Moore Rd. and off Suwanee Dam. The area on the other side of 85 (east) is not as nice. Regarding Dacula, I don't know much about that area.
