Would be better if they didn't even bother to pave them.
Seriously, It's funny how you need to have a 4x4 just to get through downtown with all the potholes.
They should go back to using cobblestones. It'd be smoother.

Hopefully some stimulus money will get those wonderful roads repaired. And the sewers.

What? Like 10th Street? I have never seen a street consistently cave in like 10th does just east of Hemphill. They fill it in, it caves in again. Then they fill it. Then it caves. Ugh.

I think their are 3 reason for a lot of the roads.
1)the tree roots.
2)the constant building
3)the water erosion that makes it worse because of the water running down the hilly terrain we have here,
I could be wrong but the DOT here is usually busy.They seem to be able to spend money on roads easy.They are not spending it on public transportation thats for sure.
