I'm not sure if you were joking or not .?. If you weren't, I still don't get it.. unless getting rail would mandate that everyone has to stop driving their cars. Otherwise, having rail would just mean that all the regular citizens would have better transport to and fro work, and there would less traffic jams so when the drug dealers are driving to and fro "their" business, they won't be as troubled by traffic.?.

Of course, not to stereotype because today's dealers come in all types, some dealers who have assimilated as your everyday 9 to 5er, will also be able to use the rail line to get to and from their "business" cheaper and quicker.

I think Atlanta should try to promote this new status into some kind of slogan or tourist/ad campaign!

Think about the possibilities!

Funny thing is, I COULD see the Atlanta tourism councils doing that! "We brought you Coke, now we bring you COKE!"

They are not cheaper than Houston or LA, but cheaper than Miami yes- as of right now. Miami has been in a drought as far as that goes since last summer. Drought= higher prices

Makes sense, but I wasn’t saying that Atlanta is the point of origin for drugs in the US. Unless the Cartel's have invented a teleporting machine, that would be highly unlikely. I do however think that the main person(s) involved in selling that stuff across the country are HQ’d here in Atlanta. From what ive been told the Gulf Cartel contols the eastern half of the US, and the Siniolia and Juaez Cartels controls the western half. Im guessing the Gulf Cartel is whats in Gwinnett

Good point. I was actually thinking of crack/coke in my discussions. But you raise an interesting point with Meth. This can and is manufactured in the US and is a whole-nother beast.

So Mexican Drug Lord Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman Loera is a billionaire because of this illicit enterprise, eh? That's a frightening thought. It's time to declare the "War on Drugs" a complete failure because whatever we as a nation have been doing so far failed. Time to consider some form of limited legalization perhaps? Whatever the case maybe, there has to be to some sort of solution for this madness.

I would think an extensive public transportation system would a deterrent to the large-scale distribution drugs. Seems like you need a vehicle for that.
