How many community colleges do you have in Atlanta, and where are they located? Thanks.

I went to Georgia Tech for pre req's in Medical school. Its at I-75 at North Ave. Beautifull campus, awsome school, plenty to do, and CHICKS! I just graduated in 2003. Depends on what you are looking for, but Atlanta is a pretty cool city. Buckhead is Awsome!

Atlanta Metropolitan college (just south of downtown atlanta)
www.atlm.edu/amc_site/ (broken link)

and GPC (Alpharatta, Clarkston, Decatur, Dunwoody, Rockdale/Newton, Lawrenceville campus will soon close and become 4 year college)
www.gpc.edu

Both of them can transfer credit to UGA, Ga state and Ga Tech.

Gwinnett Tech and Dekalb Tech are two years tech colleges but they cannot transfer to four year college.

Gwinnett Technical College, Chattahoochee Technical College, DeKalb Tech, Atlanta Metro, North Metro Tech, Lanier Tech, Georgia Highlands College, Georgia Perimeter College, Clayton College. You can googe any of these and get location and specific information. You also have plenty of choices with four colleges as well.

Um, first of all, like, um, Georgia Tech is not really a well, you know, community college. You graduated from there!? Come on, you ought to know better. Well, I know first hand that Georgia tech is a very stellar research and educational intstitution, but beautiful campus? come on, its getting better and is tranquil but go to UCSB, Stanford or even Cornell if you want to see beauty (both the natural and female kind, this is chiefly an engineering school remember.) I'm not picking on you, but you sound like an impressionable teen, Buckhead is Awesome man! Well, it has nothing on Las Vegas or Miami Beach but I guess for North Georgia it is good enough, lol.... The Airport is the best thing I like about this town to be frank.
