I'm sure I didn't say that I expect the suburbs to stall...read my post again. I know you don't like the city, I've read your criticisms of it. I do like the city, so allow me to have my opinion and my criticisms of the suburbs.

Actually, I believe that's exactly what you said, considering that the first line of your post was "Hopefully the suburbs WILL NOT begin to grow again...". Seems pretty clear to me.

And you're fully entitled to your opinion, as am I. BTW- nowhere have I ever said I "don't like the city"- I just don't prefer to live there, and there are several million others who feel the same way, based on the population in the burbs. But let's not turn this into an ITP/OTP pissing match like so many other threads have become.

No, what I said was that I HOPE they don't begin to grow again, not I EXPECT them to not grow again like you accused me of saying. There's a big difference in those two statements.

It's not pissing match...I could care less where you want to live.

So I can't ask you to stop arguing with me? I wouldn't have thought that is a "personal attack", just a request.

Since this thread is about law enforcement. Both of you deacon and bob are under arrest for thread hijacking code 46581. No bail, sentencing is scheduled for December 25 (yes Christmas!) , I want you both in court with your suburban suits and shoes. Let's be mature and please don't bring up the suburban conversation in court Let's keep the peace here

lol but to the topic, the link I gave you earlier may give you some insight on the APD My Views on the Atlanta Police Department - Police Forums & Law Enforcement Forums @ Officer.com .

Whatever...I was only commenting on the topic, and our moderator came back at me personally. I don't have any idea what suburban suits and shoes are.

Hey Deacon it was a joke, you all were talking about suburban matters in every post I said suburban suits and shoes (I really don't know what it is). Just trying to bring us all together. It was probably a bad attempt at a joke since no one laughed, sometimes my jokes may not be funny even though I laugh at them. You could have played it off and gave a fake "lol" to make me feel better. lol God Bless. Back to the topic.

Default No no no

I would not recommend APD at all. My father worked for them and ended up leaving because they are soooo ate up. I would recommend Dekalb County and if you want action Clayton County, but beware because Clayton County is a bit live.

Police Job.
Go to Gwinnett County, GA: Police Recruiting
They are still hiring. Gwinnett Police have one of the highest standings in the nation and full accredation. Qualification standards are tough.
Being ex-military you could also go for the SWAT team.

Good Luck.

As I said above- we're not going to let this thread become another "ITP/OTP thread", so don't bother trolling for it.
