I currently live in Woodstock, but I am not very familiar with Georgia yet. My dh may be getting a job around the dunwoody area. The area is by the perimeter and GA 400. We are considering moving to the Roswell area...but would rather stay where we are.

Does anyone know any back roads if he took hwy 92? How long/bad do you think the commute would be?

Thanks for your help!!

Applejuice,

I just moved to Woodstock off 92 near 575 but in an older subdivision. I have some mapping software that I use, and Put in my address just Dunwoody. Going some back roads it says 19.2 miles and about 54 minutes.

Good luck!

I do this commute. It completely depends on the commuting time. Also, where in Woodstock? I live in Woodstock but am East of the square.

I do this commute, albeit from above Woodstock (Canton) to the Perimeter area in Dunwoody. There is no easy back way during rush hour. No matter what back roads you take, they are congested. If you leave by 6:30am, you can get there within an hour. After 6:30, the trip will get longer with each 10 minutes you wait to leave. When I leave at 7:00am, it takes me a solid 90 minutes.
