Apparently many in Cobb Schools claim the new North Cobb principal is getting hosed. They can't even get the investigation right, and if this is all the guy said I feel bad for him.

Here's the 'rag's' version tonight:

North Cobb High principal demoted in harassment case | ajc.com (http://www.ajc.com/services/content/metro/cobb/stories/2008/08/26/principal_demoetd.html?cxtype=rss&cxsvc=7&cxcat=13 - broken link)

Here's the MDJ a few weeks ago:

Marietta Daily Journal - Embattled Cobb principal placed on leave

There's two ways to look at it.

1) His comments (if both of them are correct) might not be appropriate comments to make (regarding the boob comment), but they are not "sexually harassing" if he made them to another coworker and not to the person who filed the complaint. In other words, he made (supposedly) a comment to another worker about the size of a woman's boobs - ok, that's an inappropriate thing to do at work, but it's not "harassment" because he didn't walk up to that woman and go, "Hey, I like your....". So it's political correctness run amok in that sense, and the person filing the harassment complaint is wasting tax dollars and disrupting the school.

2) On the flip-side, I do believe it's been reported that this guy has a history of making "inappropriate comments" about women at other places he's worked. Even if they are not truly harassment, I do think he falls into the "idiot" category and definitely needs to learn to simply shut up when at work, and keep ALL comments work-related.

what's this boob comment? it's not on those two articles. It just mentions the stilettos and dress comment (seriously... how is this even worthy of attention)... even still, who cares if he's talking about boobs... oh, that's right, everyone...

I'm not sure if this is your opinion, but sexual harassment defined by law is indeed harassment if you make an indecent or inappropriate comment, even if the victim was not the intended target of said comment, however harassment must typically be an ongoing behavior, not just one isolated incident. So your second point actually settles that this allegation may have some merit, since the perpetrator has a history of such action.
