Dear fellas,

I am considering purchasing a single family home from Bowen Family Homes at Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road in Suwanee, It is next to I-85( about a mile in the east of I-85). I have a few questions if you guys can help out.

1. Creekland Middle School, I was not able to get rating from greatschools.net and schoolmatters.com on this school, any information on this school?

2. Quality of BOWEN homes? I checked several Pulte model homes and I can tell they have better quality than Bowen's? DO you have any experience with BOWEN to share and suggest?

Thanks in advance for any input, and I will appreciate it if you have any extro information on this community.

A.T.

Bowen homes do not have the best reputation but are consider average quality homes. As far as the school systems they have the reputation of being average. I really don't know anything about Pulte but will be glad to check it out. I recently dealt with a group called Richardson Group and the home was so good and the quality was excellent, upgrades good, floor plans user friendly and many other great things. Good luck on your search

well i don't know about the homes, but the school district is Collins Hill which is one of the best in the state. you can google Gwinnett County school district and go to their website and i'm sure there will be info in their about where they rank, state exams scores, etc...My son went to that middle school briefly before going to Collins Hill H.S. I am not disappointed. It is one of the reasons why I moved into this area.

Creekland is a good school. The only thing that sucks about it is all of the trailers. But, most of the area schools have this problem. Gwinnett is trying to play catchup currently by building new schools in this area to help solve this problem.

As I understand, I would get a better deal if I buy inventory, and the sales person told me the same thing. This community has been doing pretty good ever since March, it has a Super H-Mart coming in June right opposite the street, hence, many koreans are moving in. Do you know anything about the community?

I do have good money-saving information that any buyer would greatly benefit from; though, such information is only shared with my buyer-clients.

Keep in mind, the sales person seeks to get the best price & terms for the builder.

I live in a Bowen home but built homes for Ryland. Bowen Homes are definitely mediocre compared to Ryland standards. Their quality control is non-existent from what I could tell. There are definitely better builders than Bowen.
