I'll be going through Atlanta later this month driving between South Carolina and Louisiana and so far I plan to visit Stone Mountain including visiting the top, and seeing the sculpture of the Confederate heroes carved there (hopefully that will not be removed in the name of PC like in New Orleans.) Also definitely plan to visit the original Waffle House and the original Chick fil A.

I hear the original Chick fil A is actually the Dwarf House, and that the original Waffle House is now a museum but there is an actual restaurant next to it? This would be fun given I've already visited the original Chipotle, the original Bob Evans, the original McDonalds, the original Taco Bell, and the original Starbucks.

Is it worth spending an extra night to see the Coca Cola factory, Centennial Park and the Olympic Stadium?

Yes the original Chick Fil A is indeed a Dwarf House and is an actual restaurant that has burgers!!! It is on the southside of Atlanta! Dont know if you are joking abougt the McDonalds, Taco Bell and Starbucks but, I would recommend spending an extra night to see Coco Cola Centennial and maybe GA Aquarium just dont come this weekedn WE FULL!!!!
