I have been looking at Laurel Springs. What is the best route over to the windward pkwy area between Old Milton and webb Bridge east side of 400?

And what is with the new subdivisions on Laurel Springs Rd(Habersham Mills and the Villas)...are they a part of laurel Springs community? It seems that most of LS goes to Sharon Elem, but this new development goes to Johns creek elem.

I would love to have feedback on the commute and any of the subdivisions.

All you do is take McGinnis Ferry over to the other side of 141 (past the new hospital), and turn right where Sargeant Rd. splits off. Then you go a mile or two past a shopping center and make a left onto Windward Parkway (at the brick wall that says "Welcome to Forsyth County). Not a long drive at all.

Thanks...I thought it looked easy enough on the map...but I know those surface roads are notorious for being backed up. How long would say it takes to drive it with or without traffic. Chances are my husband would miss the am traffic as he is an early bird...the pm drive is always the mess.
