I'm looking to relocate to the Atlanta area for a job in Dunwoody, and fell in love with the Suwanee area but am apprehensive about the commute. About how long would the commute to and from Suwanee be, traveling to at 6:30am and from about 4:30pm? Thanks for your help!

The commute between Dunwoody and Suwanee is about 25 miles or 45 minutes with traffic. So if you leave home at 6:30 you will most likely get to work around 7:15. With afternoon traffic you can add about 15 more minutes to that.

You are right to be apprehensive. It is a long commute. Driving to Suwanee in no traffic will still take you at least ~30 minutes. I would figure around an hour during regular rush hour (7:30-9:00). You might be able shave a few minutes off of that if you live and work close to the highway but you will be fighting traffic on two of Atlanta's main highways (85 and 285)
