Information on Elementary School (Fulton & South Forsyth) (Atlanta, Alpharetta: apartment complexes, rentals)

Looking for some information on the below Elementary schools @ Fulton County. We are moving from Denver.

Apart from numbers, rankings , etc which can be seen at various websites including schooldigger , are there any major differences between these schools (insider perspective)

We are initially looking to rent.

Abotts Hill ES
Wilson Creek ES
Lake Windward ES
Shakerag ES

Am not finding any apartments that feeds into any of the below South Forsyth schools (searching online - if I am looking correctly), but how are these schools compared to the above Fulton County schools.

I don't recall any apartments in South Forsyth. You may find townhomes, but not apartments. Schools in that area are comparable. What's your rent price range?

flamadiddle makes a great point in not recalling any apartments in South Forsyth County.

That's because there are very few apartment complexes in all of Forsyth County, only about 6 or 7 apartment complexes in the entire county... Something which is intentional out of the fear by residents of Forsyth County that permitting too many apartment complexes in the county will turn Forsyth into a much more urban county that is similar to other once outer-suburban metro Atlanta counties like DeKalb, Clayton, Cobb and Gwinnett where maximized amounts of heavy development have been permitted over the last 4-5 decades or so.

There are really only 3 apartment complexes in South Forsyth (Reserve at Summit Crossing, Summit Crossing and Summit Crossing Phase 2) and all 3 appear to feed into Shiloh Point Elementary School (which currently appears to feed into Piney Woods Middle School and South Forsyth High School, though school attendance zone boundaries in South Forsyth County could change with the opening of the new Denmark High School next year in August 2018).

I don't have any personal insight into how these schools are, but you may want to add the Governor's Office of Student Achievement to your list of research sites.

These rentals are showing as active in MLS in the areas that are likely served by Abbots Hill, Wilson Creek, Lake Windward and Shakerag Elementary Schools.
