Back in March of this year we had a storm and a 25 mph wind did damage to many trees in the area and did this to my dad's car. (One side of the garage is currently full of junk and other side has another car parked.)

If 25 mph did that, 40+ plus is very concerning.
And we know how trees tumble like match sticks in GA.
Yup! Just as I feared. The storm hasn't even gotten that bad yet, but it has brought down our neighbor's tree! The same one that damaged my dad's car a few months back lol. Luckily it did not harm anyone or anything (except the mail box I think). I heard a some cracking noises, ran to the window and saw it coming down.

Stay safe everyone.

I remember the effects of Opal in 1995. We lost power for several days. For some reason the neighborhood down the road got power back up earlier than we did so at least there were some places to eat and a movie theater we could escape to.
First time in Marta history.

The Honda Accord got lucky.

I moved my car in my complex from the trees but it is very few spots here that doesn't have a tree near the parking area.

Yeah it doesn't really matter because somewhere leading into there the lines may still be above. A good part of Buckhead is underground yet at 345 today a major line failed on a tree falling and virtually everywhere from east of 400 in buckhead down to 85 and Buford is out and most of it has underground lines.
