How will the new Brumby Elementary and East Cobb Middle school, which are expected to be completed for the 2018/2019 school year, impact the East Cobb area? Do you think the attendance zone for these two schools will be changed? Will this have a positive impact on property values within the specified attendance zone and improve the overall quality of the area?

There are no planned attendance zone changes. They are both getting rebuilt within their respective attendance zones, albeit Brumby's new location is at the edge of its zone.

The new Eastvalley ES will be rebuilt at the current location of East Cobb MS, once relocation is completed.

Will the new Brumby also include the kids that go to Powers Ferry?

What needs to happen is all of Robinson road should get districted to East Valley and Wheeler. The apartments that are districted for East Valley on Powers Ferry should go to the new Brumby. Just my two cents. Can you imagine the uproar from the folks on Robinson road? Walton is overcrowded and they need to carve some of it.

I'd say the portion of the Walton district west of Old Canton (both north and south of 120) needs to go to Wheeler and Sprayberry. Unfortunately, that is politically impossible, and this even caused the district to go back to the drawing board with the now-under construction new school and increase its capacity.
