Hello,

My family wants to move to the Atlanta area, however we want an acre or two for our horse and I want to be within 45 minutes to an hour from Atlanta.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

nchardin
1. Budget..... Up to $1900.00
2. House/Condo/Townhome?.... House is preferred, but will take a Townhome or Duplex
3. Employment Status(commute/work from home) Work from Home
4. Children(public school vs. private)...no children....THEY ARE GROWN NOW>>>YAY
5. Suburban or Urban lifestyle preference or a mix of the two...... we would like a few acres if possible, we are looking to own a horse and would like a place to put him..however a mix would be great, not too far from civilization!
6. Easy access to public transit, important or not? not important
7. Preferable demographics of desired neighborhood................... We like being close (within an hour or so)

South Fulton seems like it would be a good fit.

Fayette County has exactly what you're looking for, especially south Fayette were horse mini farms are prevalent. However price may be a problem. Acreage for under $2,000 a month may be difficult to come by.
