North Texas has commuter LRT to the distant suburbs so they don't get high ridership per mile. And its downtown oriented when their job base is dispersed.

There is no such place as Cobb Parkway @ Cumberland Parkway, so I'm guessing that's Cobb Pkwy @ Cumberland Blvd where the Taco Bell is.

Honestly I wish they would just relocate the Cumberland Transfer Center to the other side of the mall, right here:

https://www.google.com/maps/@33.8821.../data=!3m1!1e3

Then via the 2 pedestrian bridges would have direct access from the bus center to the Battery/stadium. So then the Braves would be on a rapid bus connection line w/ 15 min frequency direct from Arts Center.

Also would keep the bus on 41 instead of the detour there.

41 needs bus-only lanes and BRT features. There's plenty of space to implement it.

A new CTC is proposed in Cobb County's long term transit plan.

I noticed at the Windy Hill intersection of Cobb Parkway there is a bus only lane with a signal that allows them through even when the light is red for cars. I'm not sure how long that goes for, maybe it's just that intersection, but if the entire Cobb Parkway portion for Route 10 was like that then it would technically be a BRT system.

Those are queue-jump lanes

It would be start and the biggest obstacle, but station-like stops with off board fare collection and further spaced stops are also part of BRT.

If Cobb Pkwy utilized designs like Dropped Transit Lane they could quickly and efficiently implement BRT.

I wasn't aware but looks like the changes have finally taken effect, including Sunday service.

It's the best piece of transit Cobb's ever had, but man do I wish I could make a few subtle tweaks to that.

I wish there was a direct ramp or a more direct access both to and from Arts Center to I-75, so there wouldn't need to be that Northside Dr detour. And I wish both the Cumberland and Marietta transfer centers were right on 41, so that from Akers Mill it could just turn on 41 and just stay straight on that, all the way to the Big Chicken.

And mainly I really wish that the Cumberland transfer center had park&ride. Like an official, large lot for it.

Other than that, it's good, it just needs BRT-type improvements. Like higher capacity bus, and bus lanes, etc.

Why can't they go down 16th Street, which dumps straight onto I-75N?

Well they are using that for the return route, but it's the wrong side of I-75, so the bus will have to merge across rush hour traffic to get over to the HOV lane.

Ideally there should be like a little short tunnel and half-interchange thing right here:

https://www.google.com/maps/@33.7900.../data=!3m1!1e3

So that you could directly access to and from the I-75 HOV lane (which should be converted to a managed Peach Pass lane), from the east/Midtown side of 16th St.

And then for those 2 traffic lights between the freeway and station (Spring and W Peachtree), just do a transit signal so the bus can zoom thru there.
