Don't miss the gallery of new renderings attached to the article. This one is my favorite -- such a bustling street scene!
I'm sure it's gonna be a nice development and that the images are just placeholders of proposed structures, but wow--some of them look like something straight out of a dystopian sci-fi movie:

This one in particular looks like the entrance to a prison:

"All prisoners...I mean Braves fans, report to Gate A immediately."

Well, they're mostly from this year and last year.

Are they building this thing in Santa Fe?

So our good friend Mr. Fuqua is helping develop this site? Color me surprised A leader in suburban style development where it is not appropriate.

Could a comedian have written a better story line?

lol... to be fair, the article does say that "the drawings don't yet reflect the actual look of the development." Still, though, I'm not sure what they were going for with these... they look like a recreation facility at a concentration camp for humans designed by our robot overlords.

Those images were part of the rezoning process and were created last month as a PowerPoint presentation to the Cobb zoning commission. ABC apparently just found them a month later and put out the article yesterday like it was a Braves promo attempt.
