I was in Ashley stores for a bedroom set and dining room set. The price was around whopping $6500. But someone on other forums suggested looking for local Ashley furniture "authorized dealers" those just registered with Ashley and can order directly. Has anyone got good experience going that route? Can anyone suggest a good dealer?

I am not altogether sure what you're asking, but I had success purchasing from
Furniture, Bedroom Furniture, Living Room Furniture, Dining Room Furniture. Furniture XO a couple of years ago. The price with free shipping was better than the price with delivery from the Ashley.
Now, I just noticed on the home page that it says "Operated by Home Gallery Stores as of 6/24/13" but my purchases were before then and it was owned by Ashley. Maybe they just do business under different names.
