Question on Private K-12 in Atlanta

to be brutally honest, theres only one private school worth going to. westminster. look at the heritage, look at the colleges, look at the MONEY...oh yeah, alot of ppl here are gonna condemn me, but truth be told...they would LOVE to have all their kids go to westminster if given the chance.

im a product of atlanta private schooling...i know the whole shebang. Lets face it, schools in georgia are a major scam...public schools are crap, and private schools is a rat race starting at age 6mon....you dont get into a good preschool, ie feeder preschool...then ur behind.

youre a lawyer making money...you want your kids to associate with the atlanta elite, get a good pedigree, and be successful on their own as well.

although a small national name, westminster does have good connections with ivy league, i-banking, and top tier law firms....if you want your kids in that environment...westminster is probably the best shot you got.

yes, there's church service weekly, and 95% are Christian...so what. Teach your kids social liberalism at home, but take advantage of the westminster name.

Huh? I don't think everyone who has children at Whitefield or Galloway is sending them to private school so they can go to Ivies and work in investment banking. . .LOL. That's not the environment that I'm guessing will interest my children, be appropriate for my children, or, knowing them as I do, that I'd wish for them in twenty years.

Interesting. I will be sure to let my friends who went to Lovett, Marist, Pace etc. who are extremely successful by any definition know that Westminster is the only private worth going to.
