They give out awards for that?

I think the BOR is basing funding on graduation rates so maybe GSU is pushing them out the door? That would also help with their US News overall ranking.

Considering a college retention among big universities is a national problem, I would think there would be an award for a University that is able to effectively address this issue. Also, there is no reason to believe that GSU is pushing students out of the door.

Sure there is. If they are not graduating them, the BOR will cut their funding.
