6. Easy access to public transit, important or not? Yes (see #2)
7. Preferable demographics of desired neighborhood Would like to live in a safe, family-friendly neighborhood with good public schools (my wife and I are in our early 30's)
8. Airport access, important or not? Not important

We're moving to Atlanta for the first time at the beginning of April so I can start a new job in Buckhead, which is a half-mile walk from the Buckhead MARTA station.

I'm looking to rent a two-bedroom apartment in a safe neighborhood with good public schools that is within 5 miles to one of these MARTA stations:

North Springs
7010 Peachtree Dunwoody Road, Sandy Springs, GA 30328

Sandy Springs
1101 Mount Vernon Highway, Atlanta, GA 30338

Dunwoody
1200 Hammond Dr, Atlanta, GA 30328

I greatly appreciate any neighborhood and apartment recommendation replies. Alternatively, please feel free send me a direct message.

Thank you.

First try Promove with this exact information.
The first 15 months I lived in Atlanta I lived at Wesley at Perimeter, then Gables Metropolitan. It was a 1/2 mile walk to Perimeter Mall and Dunwoody Station, but bus route 150 comes close to the complex, within 1 block.

Spoke with Promove and they sent me a ton of listings. Thanks for the recommendation.

I'll check out those two places you mentioned. I appreciate your help.
