I will be relocating to the ATL area in the next fews months and have questions about commute times; I read several others posts and am wondering about commute times from the PIB to Marietta, Kennesaw, or Cumming. Also, neighborhoods/subdivisions may be inexpensive or nice enough around that area to cut down on commute times? (if possible)

It would be a nightmare commute to any of those areas from Peachtree Industrial. To Kennesaw or Marietta, you're looking at 60-90 min one way. Is there a specific reason you need to live there? Where will you be working?

Where on Peachtree Indust. will you need to be? Near 285 or further North?

Unless you work "off-hours" or a flexible schedule, commuting from Kennesaw or Marietta will be about an hour-and-a-half one-way. Similar from Cumming.

I'm guessing you'll be working on PIB? If so, and depending on your job location, you may want to consider living in Duluth or the northwest side of Norcross/Peachtree Corners.

I will be working at World Toyota, 5800 PIB; my wife's friend gave us some advice on places to live, but that was before I knew where the job was at. After looking at area maps, I decided to get advice on where to live.

That's Chamblee area. I would say Duluth, West Norcross, Johns Creek, maybe Druid Hill, or Dunwoody if you have a lot of money. Marietta, Kennesaw, or Cumming all are one hour 15 minutes and one hours and half away.
