How much will parking cost today in the downtown area with the Falcons game?

I had a friend that wanted to go out there around noon (for something unrelated to the Falcons) and they wanted me to join them, but I'm assuming parking will cost a fortune. I'm definitely leaning against it, but was curious if anyone knew how bad it would be.

Bad, better to park at the nearest MARTA station and use transit. There will be extra trains runnning.

WSBTV just showed parking spots for $80 and $50 a space.

Whoa, that is high for the area! But it is the playoffs. I was going to say over $40 easily as during the regular season, most of the lots somewhat near the stadium charge $20 and up. That's way too expensive to me. The parking lot companies start raising the prices really early in the day near the stadium anyway.

Definitely take MARTA. $5 round trip per person and a good walk. I think it is worth it for a small group going.

MARTA station isn't even far from the dome either...it's like right there...MARTA is obviously the much smarter option to driving and parking.
