How typically southern.
If you think what you described is typically Southern than you have no idea as to what is Southern. I'm not even sure where you inferred that information anyway.

If you can easily screen through all of the postings on this thread and yet feel that my posting is the only posting that troubles you...then it says a whole heckuva lot about who you are as a human being than it does about me.

But then again, misplaced priorities are pretty common here in the south, so it's unfortunate that I don't expect a lot from many people here on city-data Georgia.

One person's post on a thread is hardly reason to make such sweeping remarks about an entire region and the people that inhabit it.

A close minded and ignorant post should not beget an alternate close minded and ignorant post.

Hmph.

Some people really do live in their own little "moral" universe.

Once again, gotta love the south. You have people ranting about desiring the confederacy to win...but then there are those "special cases" who rather than go after the Neo-confederacy woopy-cushion crowd...would instead prioritize go after the guy arguing against this insidious racism.

Yep, the "southern strategy" really has done a darn good job of mind-freaking this region. A darn good job indeed. All props go to Lee Atwater!
