Nothing wrong with spending $ on your GF/wife IMO, but there have been too many people moving to Atlanta for the past 10-15 years that have been giving into the idea of "sponsoring" females.

The most I'm willing to pay for a female is dinner/movies/going clubbing/etc. I refuse to pay for hand bags, clothes, her bills, etc. The only time I'm willing to buy gifts for a female is on her birthday, xmas, valentines day, and an anniversary, and that's only if she's the type to do the same (or at least attempt to) on at least one of those occasions.

Many people from out of town have been moving to Atl since the mid 90's and helping instill the black hollywood/real housewives of Atl mentality IMO. Now days so many females (not all/most, but many) are looking to a come up or a dude to take care of them because they see so many other females in Atl are doing the same.

The true Atl natives aren't/weren't materialistic or trying to live above their means, but the fake "hollywood" mindset has been running rampant in ATL for some time now IMO.

I can honestly say I never ever been asked "what type of car do you drive?" NEVER ever
But ATL is EXTREMELY social class.
I was told Seattle was a laid back city
The biggest thing is most of these people ain't happy. They are not satisfied with being normal. Its like they have to have this & that. I see it at work mostly. I'm there 40 hrs a week. I've meet a few people who feel like me including my ole girl, but I'm honestly laughing at it, they are real serious about the VIP life here.

The reason I said that is because the blacks in Georgia seem to look at "undercover" racism FAR more different than someone form the North like myself.

This is no joke...
There have been a number of times I had to speak up for people in Atlanta when a racist situation occurred when I was out and about.
People in Georgia seem to be too scared to speak up when the encounter "undercover" racism.

My philosophy on undercover racism?
A VEILED Diabolical act is far more dangerous than a bold deliberate act.

In other words, if I go to work and you (a co-worker) are a full blown racist, I would rather you come to work in a FULL BLOWN Ku Klux KLAN OUTFIT to work than "hiding" in a 3 piece suit. TRUST ME I would NOT be offended at all.
**At least I KNOW where you stand**
That sounds crazy but that is the truth
