I just interviewed for a teaching position on Hambrick Road last week. I saw some nice new-construction and the neighborhood around the school looked decent, but getting there on Memorial Drive was depressing. A lot of run-down buildings and/or vacant buildings and in general just a depressed looking area. But after I turned onto Hambrick it was okay...you should take a look before making a decision.
