I have just accepted a great job in Conyers, GA. I live in Villa Rica and it's way too far for me to drive everyday so we will need to move. The question is where do I live? I have a few requirements:

-Good Schools
-Low Minorities (I know it sounds bad and racist, but it's simply a social commentary that there is typically more crime and worse schools with a lot of African-American population)
-Pretty decent home prices - Were looking at around $250k and have a baby on the way

Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated. No I do not want to live in Conyers since it seems to have none of my requirements except good home prices.

Sounds like you might to look into Walton or Newton County for what you're looking for. Both counties border Rockdale County and should offer decent sized homes for your budget.

Funny thing is that Rockdale County (where Conyers is located, of course) used to fit your description.

I think Rockdale might be 30-40% African American now days (or higher), but I highly doubt the county has the crime issues that you believe are "typically" associated with an AA populatuon

Newton is going to become Majority Minority like Rockdale soon, if it hasn't already.

You have Walton, Morgan, Jasper or Oconee County that are still close to Conyers.
