There's a gas station/liquor store at the corner of Moreland Ave. and Wylie St. between Edgewood and Reynoldstown. If you had the choice to put whatever you wanted, what would you place on that corner instead? What about the other corners of that same intersection?

I actually like that new gas station a lot. The guys who run the place seem really cool and it's the sort of well lighted, 24-hour place that might actually spur some improvement in the area. I wouldn't do anything with it because it's by far the nicest gas station in this part of town.

The liquor store sucks. Too many bums hanging out all the time. My inner yuppie wants a more convenient Trader Joes but it'll be a million years before that happens in that particular spot. The other three corners need work but I'd like to see at least one interesting ethnic eatery open up(Ethiopian, Thai, Vietnamese, etc.). Not the typical mexican, chinese, italian deals.

Cash for Gold, or Title Pawn. Not enough of either in the area.

I would do nothing and leave the store alone. It's actually a nice clean "brand" service station. We have a friend of the family who owns a cellular store across from the Texaco at Moreland and Wylie. The police presence is known at that intersection, and it's rarely a problem in that area other then car accidents. Now what needs a new "vision" is that car wash that they stuck in the corner across from there at Moreland and Hosea Williams I think. Packed, narrow, and busy a** Moreland ave could have done without that. Just saying......
