Hey Y'all,

I have a trip planned to stay at the Loews in midtown, eat at a couple of establishments out there including the Highlader (saw on the Foodnetwork with Guy F.), and visit Cosmo Lava; I have a few other things planned, but these are the areas I am concerned about.

Also, I would like to got to Atlantic Station to go to H&M on Sunday morning.

What do you think? I know crime is everywhere, but are these pretty safe areas in the ATL?

Thanks a bunch!

The loews hotel is really nice, and the midtown area is a nice one. There are a bunch of restaurants within walking distance from the hotel. As far as safety, as long as you are aware of your surroundings, you should be fine. There are a ton of places to shop in Atlanta, since you are a H&M fan, you might want to check out Zara at Lenox mall (high style, good prices). If you take 14th street across the highway, to Howell Mill road, turn right, and Anthropologie has a store there and there are more restaurants and shops.

When I visited Atlanta, I went to World Of Coke. That's a MUST!

Dear God, stay away from the Varsity. It is the most overrated greasepit on the planet. Don't let the locals fool you like they did me
