Is anyone nervous about decision letters? I heard applications are up and am hoping my child gets into the one and only school we applied him to. Last year applications and enrollment were down so I was not worried but have heard that this year is more competitive (based on the number of applicants). We have no back-up if he is wait listed or rejected! He is a smart kid so am hoping all goes well! Anyone in the same boat?

Not in the same boat, but I do remember my acceptance to private high school. It was a very anxiety-filled week. My parents hid my first choice acceptance letter and surprised me. But I applied to multiple schools. Do they still send acceptance by mail?

Good luck!

EDIT: I had a friend who put all of his eggs in one basket. He wasn't very smart, but he was smart enough, was applying from a private middle school, was athletic, and was a legacy. Any of those apply to you?

Yes, they are sent out April 1. I can't believe the amount of anxiety for kindergarten!

Well, today's the day. I wonder if the decision letters will come in tomorrow's mail. I'm very nervous!

If you think Kindergarten acceptance letters are nerve-wrecking, just wait until you have a high school senior and college letters come out (or you just look at a website). Not to seem harsh, but it is only kindergarten.....

I think I would be calmer about this if the local public school was good. But I agree. It's good to keep things in perspective.

Hello,
We are in the same kindergarten boat. It's a fun kind of nervous excitement. We applied to three schools to be safe. We still don't know which one we are going to select. I am hoping to have at least one letter by Saturday but this could just be wishful thinking. Best wishes to you on getting admitted to your school of choice.

Anyone get a letter from Westminster today? We heard from Lovett and Pace today, but not Westminster.
