GDOT has made some major changes to www DOT georgianavigator DOT com

Some will say these changes are not for the better. I have been searching for the last 2 days for an alternative for my PC and iPhone.

Just found www DOT sigalert DOT com

They even have an iPhone (not iPad though) aware web site that will use the iPhones location without downloading an app. For PC's you have to select your city

I was just about to post about this update.

It sucks.

They ditched all the camera views so you can no longer check traffic as extensively as before hand. They don't have a simple list of the incidents on 1 page like Ga Nav. As well as, the traffic sensors are barely work for the metro area anymore so most of the map just shows gray instead of traffic speed.

Update fail.

Yes, the upgrade was more like a downgrade for me. I do not like the website change at all. Not only that, but it has been offline or only partially working for the past week or so now. I wish they would downgrade it back to the old website.

It appears they disabled a bunch of the cameras entirely as they no longer show up on the 11alive traffic map either. Instead of upgrading bandwidth, this was their idea of an upgrade? Please.

There's an app called "Inrix Traffic" for the iPhone that's pretty decent. No traffic cams though.

Ok, there is a free version that has less capabilities. The Pro version has traffic cams for some areas.
